A Scrum Team has been working on the same product for twelve Sprints. What would likely be the immediate impact on the original Scrum Team if two new Scrum Teams are to be added to the same product?

A. Its productivity is likely to decrease
B. Its productivity is likely to increase
C. Its productivity is likely to stay the same

Correct Answer: A

When teams change their members or different teams are added within the organization to work on the same Product Backlog a temporary decrease in productivity is usually to be expected. It takes time for everyone to get up to speed and figure out how to work together efficiently.
