During the Sprint, the Development Team finds new work that was not planned in the Sprint Backlog. What should they do?

    A. Add the new work to the current Sprint without removing anything

    B. Remove an equal amount of work from the Sprint Backlog to accommodate the new work

    C. Inform the Product Owner and Scrum Master, and create a separate Sprint for the new work

    D. Add the new work to the next Sprint, once it’s planned

    Correct Answer: C

If new work arises during the Sprint that was not planned in the Sprint Backlog, the Development Team should inform the Product Owner and Scrum Master. The Product Owner can evaluate the new work’s priority and decide whether to add it to the current Sprint or address it in a future Sprint
